¹⁶ Jehoash rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel. Then his son Jeroboam became king in his place. ¹⁷ But Amaziah son of Joash king of Judah lived for fifteen years after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel.

¹⁸ As for the rest of Amaziah’s acts, are they not written in the annals of the kings of Judah?
